Nintendo Entertainment
Background: Nintendo Entertainment was an independent company produced in association with PBS Kids Cartoon Studios. It was initially used when Alice Williams and PBS Kids Animation/Visual Arts co-produced How Bowser Koopa Stole Easter!, until Interstation Studios took over animation production of the Nintendo TV specials in 2012. Currently, PBS owns How Bowser Koopa Stole Easter!, while Superstar Studios licenses the remaining material along with Nintendo Entertainment. Nintendo Entertainment is a division of Tokyo GameFreak Inc.
1st Logo
(2001-2012)
Nickname: "Mario!", "Hello!"
Logo: A blue circle appears on a red background, surrounded a circle by the words "A NINTENDO PRESENTATION", with a copyright notice underneath, and inside the yellow circle is a white circle with Mario. He blinks his eyes. On the closing credits of How Bowser Koopa Stole Easter!, the logo would cross-fade to the "Pinchface" variant of the PBS Kids Cartoon Studios.
FX/SFX: Mario blinking his eyes.
Music/Sounds: None, just the opening/closing of the animated special. However, on the 2003 VHS release, Hub airings, the 2004 DVD release, and the 2012 Blu-ray release of How Bowser Koopa Stole Easter!, it has an ending theme playing over the logo.
Availability: Rare. Can be seen on the earlier Nintendo specials, specifically on How Bowser Koopa Stole Easter!.
Scare Factor: None, but the cross-fade into the "Pinchface" variant of the PBS Kids Cartoon Studios logo may throw people off.
2nd Logo
(2013)
Logo: On a blue background, we see the words ''Nintendo Entertainment'' in the Nintendo font. Below that is ''presents'' in a different font.
FX/SFX: The zooming-in.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme of Valentine's Day Is Bowser's Day.
Availability: Rare. Seen only on Valentine's Day Is Bowser's Day (2013).
Scare Factor: Low. The music for Valentine's Day Is Bowser's Day does seem a little bit scary.
